We once again resolved to cut our list off at 25 Best song but then… we just Had to add more! Check out the 50 Best Songs of 2014. From the fast modern beats, to the classic raag, to the romantic melodies the music directors of Bollywood gave us many songs to add to our playlists. Wajid had previously been seen on The Voice India mentoring team Shaan.Ģ014 was certainly rich in music! The year featured an eclectic mix of styles, syncopations, and superb singers. Before the live performances began, the special guests of the episode were music directors Sajid Wajid. Sadly, Sana and Arpita were eliminated from team Shaan, while Harjot and Akshay were nominated from team Mika. Tanvir and Passang were saved from the eliminations and they made it through to the top 5 contestants of team Mika. Akash and Ritu were saved from the eliminations and they have made it to the top 5 contestants of team Shaan! It was then time for team Mika’s eliminations. In Saturday’s episode, team Shaan and team Mika would be performing therefore team Shaan went through the eliminations first. Only two out of four contestants from each of the teams, would be saved via public voting. Saturday’s episode of ‘The Voice India’ opened with a quick re-cap of last week and a reminder of the imminent eliminations.

The festival comprised the whole package: adventure, shopping, gourmet, live jamming stations and ofcourse, music, in its many different, adrenaline-pumping avatars. Walking in to be welcomed by 100 feet installation that maps the journey of music … from vinyls to cassettes to CDs to iPods…that’s a chaste festival for you.
